Within Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş., utmost care is taken to protect the personal data we obtain while you benefit from services provided by us or requested by you.
In this context, in order to fulfill the disclosure obligation arising from Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), this “Personal Data Protection Statement and Privacy Policy” has been presented to your attention to explain how your personal information will be used and protected.

Collection, Processing and Protection of Personal Data
We inform you that all information requested by “Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş.” from its customers and shared with us voluntarily (name, surname, age, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) constitutes your “personal data” and that any operations carried out on your information, including obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, disclosing, transferring, making accessible by automated or non-automated means, shall be deemed “processing of personal data” as provided by the relevant legislation.
The personal data collected will be processed and stored by our company within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the purposes of carrying out necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our company, to personalize and recommend the products and services offered by our company according to your preferences, usage habits and needs, to design special promotional activities for customer profiles, campaign activities, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and persons related to our company, determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies, and ensuring the implementation of our human resources policies. In addition, behavior and preferences of visitors to our website that do not include personal information are analyzed and statistical data are collected to improve our service quality.
Our company takes necessary measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access or loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction and stores personal data in a secure environment not open to public use. However, due to the nature of the internet, information may circulate on the internet and be used by unauthorized persons despite adequate security measures. Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or its officials are not responsible for damages arising from such uses.
Credit card information requested on the payment page of our company’s official site is taken with the 3D Secure application in order to keep the security of our customers who shop from the site at the highest level, and all payment transactions are ensured to take place between your bank and your computer via the vikingturizm.com interface. Nevertheless, although we cannot guarantee security in all circumstances, if personal data is damaged or falls into third parties’ hands as a result of attacks on the website or the system, our Company will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.
Sharing of Personal Data
Personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions and private persons, and in cases where disclosure to official authorities is required by mandatory legislation, to official authorities, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purposes of determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies and ensuring the implementation of our company’s human resources policies.
Necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent rights violations during transfers of data to third parties, and Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or its officials are not responsible for violations that occur within the risk area under the responsibility of the third party receiving the personal data due to the third party’s data protection policies.
Rights of Personal Data Owners
Under the KVKK, you have the right to apply to our Company and: a) learn whether your personal data have been processed, b) request information if they have been processed, c) learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose, ç) know the third parties to whom they have been transferred domestically/abroad, d) request correction if they are incomplete/incorrectly processed, e) request deletion/destruction in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK, f) request notification of the transactions made pursuant to items (d) and (e) above to the third parties to whom they have been transferred, g) object to the emergence of a result against you due to analysis exclusively by automatic systems, and ğ) request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
