In this context, in order to fulfill the disclosure obligation arising from Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), this “Explanation on the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy Policy” has been presented to inform you about how your personal information will be used and protected.

All information requested by “Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş.” from its customers and shared with us voluntarily (name, surname, age, e-mail address, phone number, etc.) is considered your “personal data,” and we inform you that any operation performed on your information — including obtaining your information by automatic or non-automatic means, recording, storing, preserving, altering, disclosing, transferring, making obtainable — constitutes the “processing of personal data” as defined in the relevant legislation.
Your collected personal data will be processed and stored within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the purposes of: carrying out necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our company; customizing and recommending the products and services provided by our Company according to your preferences, usage habits and needs; designing special promotional activities for customer profiles; campaign activities; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and persons associated with our company; determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies; and executing our Company’s human resources policies. In addition, the behavior and preferences of visitors to our website — which do not contain personal information — are analyzed and statistical data aimed at improving our service quality are collected.
Our company takes necessary measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access or loss, incorrect use, disclosure, alteration or destruction and stores personal data in a secure environment that is not open to public access. However, due to the nature of the internet, information may travel over the internet and be used by unauthorized persons despite adequate security measures. Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. Credit card information requested on the payment page of our company’s official site is collected using the 3D Secure application in order to keep the security of our shopping guests at the highest level, and all payment transactions are conducted via the vikingturizm.com interface between the bank and your computer. Nevertheless, while we cannot provide a guarantee regarding security-related matters, in the event that personal data is damaged or obtained by third parties as a result of attacks on the website or system, our Company will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.

Personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions and private persons, and official authorities when required by mandatory regulations, for the purposes of determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies and executing our company’s human resources policies, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
Necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent rights violations during data transfer to third parties, and Viking Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or its officials are not responsible for violations that occur within the risk area under the responsibility of the third party due to the third party’s data protection policies.
Rights of Personal Data Owners
Under the KVKK, by applying to our Company, you have the right to: a) learn whether your personal data are processed; b) request information if they have been processed; c) learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose; ç) know the third parties to whom they are transferred domestically or abroad; d) request correction if they are processed incompletely or incorrectly; e) request deletion or destruction within the scope of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK; f) request that notices of transactions made pursuant to items (d) and (e) above be sent to third parties to whom the data have been transferred; g) object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automatic systems; ğ) request compensation for the damage you suffer due to unlawful processing.
To exercise the rights listed above, you may submit your request containing identification information and explanations regarding the right you wish to exercise as specified in Article 11 of the KVKK by filling out the form on https://www.vikingturizm.com and sending the signed copy of the form to Yeni Mah. 489 Sokak no:3 07980 Kemer Antalya by hand, by registered mail with return receipt, or via a notary, or you may send it electronically with an electronic signature to vikingturizm@hs03.kep.tr.
